Spain - Part 3 - Day 3 & 4

DAY 3 & 4

Vamos a la playa, oh oh ohohoh! You sang that I'm sure you did :D.
Our plan for the third day was to do nothing, to rent a car and drive to some of the beaches south of Valencia. We didn't want to go to the Malvarossa beach as it's probably the most crowded and we were worried our things might have got stolen (not because we're in Spain or something like that, just because these things can happen in crowded places when you're somewhat far from your stuff).
So we chose Playa de la Garrofera which was just 20 minutes south of the city and several websites promised that there were sun umbrellas and loungers to rent (an absolute must when you want to stay for a whole day). At first, we parked at some abandoned parking lot but then I saw a fairly crowded one right next to the one we chose and we moved there (I may be paranoid but better to be safe than sorry, right?). After renting the loungers and sun umbrella (5 EUR/each) we finally did NOTHING. Sun, sand and salty hair! In the morning there were, let's say, quite a lot people (we thought there wasn't going to be anybody :D so quite a lot considering our expectations). Most of the people left in the afternoon so it was quieter and more private then but if you're not a fan of waves don't come in the afternoon - it was just perfect since we love it.
At 5pm we decided we had enough and went for a ride along the coast. We saw a couple of perfect beaches, we especially loved the one in Cullera, it was just perfect. However, we went on, our destination being Carrefour in Cullera. As you might have read in our post about Monaco, it's a bit of our tradition :D So we bought some wine, cheese, ham and so on. We spent about an hour there simply because I love going to the supermarkets abroad - firstly, because I feel like a local :D and secondly because I see all the local products, food and different chocolate variations they don't sell at home. (Other than that, I'm also a bit weird :D).

At that moment, our plan for the night was clear. To top it, when I started browsing TV channels I found a) an LGBT dating show and b) Spanish X factor - you can imagine how ecstatic Telchac was :D.
DAY 4
Lazy morning, afternoon in the park, finishing the last bottle of Cava and then heading for the airport. That was our last day in Valencia. And, hot, of course, hot, I cannot forget that.

Overall, the perfect trip! As we always have :) Again, we are not publishing this from home but you probably know that if you're following us on IG. This will be the case next week as well, but as to where we're heading and what will wait for you here that will remain a secret.
Enjoy your weekend & CU then & there ;)
